For users with a working installation of Matlab (version 6-7):

For users without an installation of Matlab on their computer, we have used the Matlab compiler to create a stand alone executable.  To run this, you will need to install the Matlab Componenet Runtime (version 7 SR3) on the host computer.

Discription

Uses the output of the  CML Dynamic Simulator and measured bump responses to evaluate the stiffness and damping of slider-air bearings.

Includes MATLAB grahical user interface for both PC and UNIX platform. Updated to use Matlab 6.0-7.x (7.x support added 9/23/04).

Notes:

Requires CML Air Bearing Dynamic Simulator and Matlab or the Matlab Component Runtime v7.1 sr3 .
